YAY OIL...and Tatoos

Aaayeeeah!!! My boys won another game!!! That's us...cling by your finger nails and then go Mission Impossible on their A$$!!! LOVE IT!

I heard via Darren's Blog of girl's lower back tattoos being called a "tramp stamp" I don't necessarily agree, though I can't say I won't use the term - it just rolls right off your tongue! A tattoo is like the forbidden fruit to me. I want one, I've thought a lot about one, I can practically taste it, on some level I know it will make me just that much smarter, but then I will be kicked out of the "un-sullied body club" of eden forever. FOREVER. I just can't do it.

Thoughts on tattoos?

Rach, don't listen to Derek. While normally a good voice of reason, in this instance I would beg to differ with his plea. ;) (sorry Derek, it must be said). While I still do not fully understand the tattoo-impulse, it is quite a fulfilling and thrilling expenditure of large sums of cash. Though I do recommend getting something that you will still love in 20 years when it has changed shape, size, and color and choose something with significance that will not fade (when in doubt, a big heart with "Mom" through the middle will suffice. Derek's initials will not. Unless you have caused him significant grief and pain for an extended period of time and he still loves you, it just won't do... on the other hand, perhaps he qualifies...) j/k Alright, so I can't convince you to join the dark side nor can I explain what drives people like myself to permanently etch symbols into their bodies. Really, I got nothing.
In conclusion, I like my tattoo and I'm glad I did it. You should try it. Weak argument, I know. I'm tired, we can continue this conversation another time.
Love ya!

Unrelated to your post:

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you. I've had a couple of busy evenings (tonight Chuck and I get to move Chuck's brother from Calgary to Edmonton), but I'm still planning on calling you!

*hugs* Hope you're doing okay.
